With more than 100 years of experience, our River of History demonstrates the wealth of our programs

  • Piloted Wraparound services in Alameda County provided clear evidence that home-based services resulted in beneficial outcomes including: more young people exiting the foster care system, greater satisfaction with employment services, and a reduced need for emergency services.
  • Implemented a demonstration project, with funding from the Zellerbach Family Foundation, to evaluate the effectiveness of Parent Partner services on mental health goals. This report provided key evidence for county contractors to recognize Parent Partners as essential for agency programs.
  • Developed a unique model of Full Service Partnership with Transition Age Youth TAY) integrating Evidence-Based Practices of ACT and TIP with innovative housing models. This helps TAY with serious emotional disabilities acquire housing, improve natural supports, and progress towards self-sufficiency.
  • Provided a model for agency change, while working with Zialogic partners, to build capacity for serving clients with co-occurring emotional and substance disabilities. Unique among community-based organizations, FFYC committed resources to agency change, developing staff skills while revising program design.
  • Created infrastructure to accomplish evidence-based and outcome-driven program evaluations to ensure the highest quality level for both existing and new programs.

  • In-Home Crisis Stabilization Program: This program interrupts repetitive cycles of crisis by proving round-the-clock, individualized support and assistance. By building on natural supports, this program restores confidence and comfort during times when it is needed most.
  • Our Dual Diagnosis Residential Services provide integrated treatment strategies for youth with both emotional and developmental disabilities to return to their homes and community.
