SERVICES - SAN DIEGO REGION Fred Finch Youth Center (FFYC) offers an array of mental health and social services in traditional and unique settings throughout the San Diego Region. FFYC provides professional, culturally-competent, individualized mental health and social services based on the strengths and hopes of each person and family. The goal is always to support the journey to a healthy, productive life in the community. Outpatient Community Services are provided in homes and communities, reducing barriers to accessing services and offering necessary support
We also provide 24-hour care and a whatever-it-takes approach to specialized residential services, education, and mental health treatment for youth who have emotional disturbances and developmental disabilities. Services are individualized and focus on safety and teaching independent living skills for a successful transition back to the community. Youth not residing in our residential program may attend the non-public school portion of the program if the student’s education plan determines a need for specialized education. Please see Residential Services for more information.
